Ingredients
- 4 c. Bite sized crispy corn cereal squares
- 1/2 c. Butter
- 1 c. Firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 c. Salted peanuts
- 1/2 c. Light corn syrup
- 2 Tbsp. All purpose flour
- 1 pkt (8oz) candy coated lowfat milk chocolate pcs
Directions
- This is a recipe I make every Christmas. Not because they are Christmasy, just because which's the only time I ever bake (g) It's from the Land O Lakes Cookie book.
- In large bowl, combine cereal, peanuts and candies; set aside. In 2 qt saucepan, heat butter (2-4 min). Stir in all other ingredients.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, till mix comes to a full boil (2-4 min). Boil 1 minute. Pour caramel mix over cereal mix; toss to coat well. Press on bottom of greased 13x9 pan. Cold completely; cut into bars.
