Ingredients

  • 1 box cheddar potatoes au gratin by Hungry Jack or possibly
  • 3 c. Water
  • 1/3 c. Nonfat lowfat milk Add in any variety of thawed veggies (I used broccoli and cauliflower) Fine bread crumbs

Directions

  1. This is a great dish in a rush. Take a box of those Cheddar Potatoes Au Gratin by Hungry Jack or possibly Betty Crocker. The package says 1 gram of fat for the entire mix. Spread potatoes in a elongated pan and add in 3 c. of water.
  2. Microwave for 10 min. Add in cheese mix with 1/3 c. of nonfat lowfat milk. Add in any variety of thawed veggies. I used broccoli and cauliflower. Mix with potatoes and cheese. Sprinkle on top of mix with fine bread crumbs. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 20 min till brown on top. Eat and serve.
  3. PS: The idea came from the box where they suggested adding ham, turkey, too - I imagine which you could add in seitan or possibly tofu to this mix.
