Cheese Filled Parmesan Biscuit Loaves Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/3 c. finely minced walnuts
  • 2 ounce cream cheese softened
  • 1 1/2 tsp finely minced fresh basil
  • 1 x garlic clove chopped
  • 1 can Pillsbury Grands! Refrigerated Home Style (1 pound 0.3-ounce.) or possibly Buttermilk Biscuits

Directions

  1. 1/4 C. butter or possibly margarine, melted
  2. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease two 9-by-5-inch or possibly 8-by-4-inch loaf pans. In small bowl, combine Parmesan cheese and walnuts; mix well. In another small bowl, combine cream cheese, basil and garlic; mix well. Separate dough into 8 biscuits. Spoon 1 tsp. cream cheese mix on half of each biscuit. Fold biscuit over cream cheese; press edges to seal. Dip each biscuit in melted butter; coat with cheese-walnut mix. Arrange 4 biscuits, seam side down, in each greased pan. Drizzle any remaining butter over biscuits; sprinkle with any remaining cheese mix. Bake for 25-35 min or possibly till golden. Immediately remove from pan. Serve hot. Store in refrigerator.
  3. Makes 8 servings.
