Directions

  1. Heat caramels with water & margarine in a saucepan over low heat.
  2. Stir occasionally till smooth.Combine sugar,salt & Large eggs. Gradually add in caramel sauce;Mix well. Stir in pecan halves & pour into pastry shell.Bake @ 350 degree for 40 min.Pie filling will appear soft,but becomes hard as it cools.
