Candied Figs Recipe

Ingredients

  • 5 lb Fresh figs
  • 1 c. Water
  • 2 c. Granulated white sugar

Directions

  1. Boil the above mix stirring often for 1 hour each day for 3 days.
  2. Remove figs from syrup and place on drying rack or possibly cookie sheet lined with wax paper. Dry the figs in the sun and then roll in granulated white sugar.
