Ingredients
- 1 x small minced onion
- 1 x small bell pepper
- 1 lb lean grnd beef
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp garlic pwdr
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 stalk shopped celery
- 2 can 16 ounce undrained small northern beans
- 1/2 med head cabbage minced
- 1 can 28 ounce. tomatoes - minced with liquid
- 1 can water - tomato can
- 4 x beef bouillon cubes
- Â Â parsley
Directions
- In a large pot, brown onions, peppers - brown beef. Add in all other ingredients except parsley; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 1 hour. Garnish with parsley. If cooking for Two: Soup can be frzn in serving-size portions to enjoy months later.
- Originally recipe called for kidney beans. You can use any kind of beans you like.
