Ingredients

  • 1 x small minced onion
  • 1 x small bell pepper
  • 1 lb lean grnd beef
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp garlic pwdr
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 stalk shopped celery
  • 2 can 16 ounce undrained small northern beans
  • 1/2 med head cabbage minced
  • 1 can 28 ounce. tomatoes - minced with liquid
  • 1 can water - tomato can
  • 4 x beef bouillon cubes
  •     parsley

Directions

  1. In a large pot, brown onions, peppers - brown beef. Add in all other ingredients except parsley; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 1 hour. Garnish with parsley. If cooking for Two: Soup can be frzn in serving-size portions to enjoy months later.
  2. Originally recipe called for kidney beans. You can use any kind of beans you like.
