%20treats!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20was%20asked%20to%20write%20about%20our%20little%20family%E2%80%99s%20holiday%20baking%20party%20by%20M&m%E2%80%99s,%20Glad,%20and%20Target,%20so%20the%20first%20item%20on%20my%20checklist%20was%20hit%20up%20Target%20for%20supplies.%20Go%20to%20Target?%20For%20work?%20Oh,%20gee,%20twist%20my%20arm.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhile%20I%20was%20there%20I%20spotted%20Target%E2%80%99s%20exclusive%20new%20M&M%20flavor%E2%80%A6White%20Chocolate%20Peppermint.%20They%E2%80%99re%20only%20available%20at%20Target!%20I%20bought%20all%20the%20bags,%20so%20sorry.%20None%20left%20for%20you!%20I%20also%20snagged%20a%20pack%20of%20the%20little%20holiday%20mini%20M&M%E2%80%99s,%20because%20you%20can%E2%80%99t%20decorate%20sugar%20cookies%20without%20candy,%20amirite?%20Don%E2%80%99t%20tell,%20but%20I%20also%20stocked%20up%20on%20the%20peanut%20butter%20version,%20too.%20I%E2%80%99m%20obsessed%20with%20those.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFrom%20there%20I%20wandered%20deeper%20into%20the%20holiday%20section%20and%20found%20the%20exclusive%20Glad%20holiday%20edition%20packaging.%20They%20must%20be%20popular,%20because%20there%20was%20only%20one%20package%20left!%20I%20snagged%20it.%20It%E2%80%99s%20a%20nice%20deep%20container%20with%20a%20cute%20holiday%20design.%20Perfect%20for%20storing%20and%20gifting%20holiday%20treats!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20did%20end%20up%20finding%20a%20few%20more%20packs%20in%20the%20grocery%20section%20of%20the%20store,%20so%20check%20their%20too!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhile%20there,%20I%20also%20loaded%20up%20on%20sprinkles%20and%20frosting%20and%20Santa%20hats,%20because%20who%20decorates%20cookies%20without%20Santa%20hats?%20No%20one.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20next%20day%20I%20spent%20the%20morning%20baking%20up%20a%20batch%20of%20perfect%20sugar%20cookies.%20They%E2%80%99re%20thick%20and%20sturdy%20and,%20best%20of%20all,%20you%20don%E2%80%99t%20need%20to%20chill%20the%20dough.%20My%20kids%20did%20the%20cookie%20cutting%20while%20I%20tried%20to%20contain%20the%20flour.%20We%20both%20could%20have%20done%20a%20better%20job,%20if%20I%E2%80%99m%20being%20honest.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENext%20up,%20we%20all%20donned%20our%20Santa%20hats%20and%20started%20decorating%20cookies%20like%20it%20was%20going%20out%20of%20style!%20Sprinkles%20everywhere,%20man.%20Totally%20worth%20it%20though.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd,%20it%20would%20not%20even%20be%20Christmas%20if%20we%20didn%E2%80%99t%20make%20our%20FAVORITE%20holiday%20candy!%20Buttons!%20We%E2%80%99re%20all%20pretty%20obsessed%20with%20these,%20mostly%20because%20the%20kids%20can%20do%20them%20all%20by%20themselves.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYou%20just%20need%20a%20bunch%20of%20pretzel%20rings%20(Rold%20Gold%20makes%20these%20and%20they%E2%80%99re%20the%20easiest%20brand%20to%20find,%20but%20I%20prefer%20the%20Kitchen%20Cooked%20brand,%20because%20they%20seem%20to%20be%20an%20eensy%20bit%20smaller.),%20chocolate%20candies%20(think%20Kisses,%20Rolos,%20mini%20truffles,%20a%20few%20chocolate%20chips),%20and%20M&M%E2%80%99s!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20kids%20lay%20out%20the%20rings,%20unwrap%20all%20the%20candy,%20pop%20it%20in%20the%20oven,%20and%20then%20do%20the%20honors%20of%20smooshing%20the%20melty%20chocolate%20with%20an%20M&M.%20I%20have%20to%20say%20that%20the%20white%20chocolate%20peppermint%20M&M%E2%80%99s%20were%20divine%20in%20these%20candies!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhen%20we%20were%20all%20done%20baking,%20we%20packaged%20everything%20up%20in%20our%20Glad%20holiday%20containers%20to%20keep%20them%20fresh%20for%20deliveries%20to%20friends%20and%20neighbors!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDo%20you%20have%20a%20holiday%20baking%20party%20with%20your%20family%20every%20year?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYield:%2040%20pieces%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPrep%20Time:%205%20minutes%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECook%20Time:%205%20minutes%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETotal%20Time:%2010%20minutes%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E40%20M&M's%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDirections:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20oven%20to%20200%20degrees.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELine%20a%20baking%20sheet%20with%20parchment%20paper.%20Lay%20all%20the%20pretzel%20rings%20out%20and%20place%20a%20chocolate%20candy%20in%20the%20center%20of%20each%20ring.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBake%20for%202-3%20minutes%20or%20until%20the%20chocolate%20is%20shiny%20and%20wet%20looking.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERemove%20from%20the%20oven%20and%20immediately%20press%20an%20M&M%20into%20the%20top%20of%20the%20chocolate%20and%20smoosh%20it%20down%20so%20that%20the%20chocolate%20fills%20the%20center%20of%20the%20pretzel.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECool%20completely%20before%20removing%20from%20the%20pan.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDon%E2%80%99t%20miss%20a%20post!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EStay%20Connected:%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
