Ingredients

  • 4 x Large eggs, beaten
  • 2 1/4 c. Sugar
  • 5 c. Lowfat milk
  • 4 c. Whipping cream
  • 4 1/2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 c. Butter
  • 2 c. Minced pecans
  • 1/4 c. Brown sugar

Directions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, gradually add in sugar to Large eggs, beating till stiff.
  2. Add in lowfat milk, cream, vanilla and salt and mix well. Chill. Heat butter and saute/fry pecans. Add in brown sugar and stir till melted. Cold well. Add in to ice cream mix and freeze in ice cream freezer.
  3. Yield: 1 gallon.
