Ingredients
- 2 c. Bulgarian buttermilk
- 3/4 teaspoon soda
- 2 whole egg yolks
- 2 stiffly beaten egg whites
- 1 T sugar
- 2 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 3/4 c. sifted flour
- 1/2 cube butter, melted
Directions
- Put together buttermilk, soda and egg yolks. Sift together sugar, baking pwdr, salt, flour and add in to first mix, blending well. Add in melted butter and put together thoroughly. Gently mix in the stiffly beaten egg whites and bake on lightly greased griddle.This recipe comes from a restaurant chain in Seattle which is now non-existent. Remember Clarks
