Buffalo Shrimp Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 lb shrimp - (12 to 14 ct) peeled, deveined
  • 2 c. flour Salt to taste Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste Cayenne pepper to taste
  • 1 c. soft butter
  • 1/2 c. warm sauce

Directions

  1. In a medium-sized pot heat vegetable oil to 350 degrees. In a shallow dish, toss shrimp in 2 c. of flour seasoned with salt, pepper, and cayenne to taste. Shake off the excess flour and fry till golden brown, about 3 min.
  2. While the shrimp are frying, combine soft butter and warm sauce in a large bowl. Toss the shrimp in the butter and warm sauce till they are well coated.
