  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 c. minced onions
  • 2 c. heavy cream
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 4 c. Heluva Good Washed Curd Cheese about 1 lb., grate
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 can crab 6oz,liquid removed
  • 1 ct Heluva Good Warm Salsa 14oz, liquid removed with most of the liquid pressed out baked tortilla or possibly pita chips for dipping

Directions

  1. In a 2 1/2 qt saucepan heat butter over medium heat. Add in garlic and onions. Cook till soft, 5 min. Add in cream, Worcestershire and Dijon and heat over low heat till warm, but not boiling. In a bowl toss grated cheese with flour. Add in flour and cheese mix by handfuls to the warm cream stirring till cheese melts before adding the next handful. Add in crab and liquid removed salsa. Transfer dip to a fondue pot and keep hot over a low flame. Serve with baked tortilla or possibly pita chips for dipping.
