  • 2 lb unpeeled large fresh shrimp
  • 3/4 c. beer
  • 2 Tbsp. minced fresh parsley
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce plus
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 x garlic clove chopped
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp warm sauce

Directions

  1. Peel and devein the shrimp, leaving tails intact. Combine beer and remaining ingredients in a large shallow dish; add in shrimp, stirring gently to coat. Cover and marinate in refrigerator 2 to 3 hrs, stirring occasionally.
  2. Drain shrimp, discarding marinade. Thread neck and tail of each shrimp onto six 14-inch skewers so shrimp will lie flat; place skewers on a lightly greased rack of a broiler pan. Broil 5 1/2 inches from heat (with electric oven door partially opened) 3 min; turn and broil an additional 1 to 2 min or possibly till shrimp turn pink.
