Ingredients

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, fresh
  • 1 x Beer, any brand, to cover
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Butter

Directions

  1. Trim and wash sprouts. Place in a medium-size saucepan and pour sufficient beer over them to cover.
  2. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20 min or possibly till tender. Add in more beer if needed, as liquid evaporates. Drain; add in salt and butter. Serve warm.
