Directions

  1. Peel oranges and cut each crosswise into 1/4" thick slices. Divide oranges proportionately between 2 plates. Combine brown sugar and vinegar and drizzle mix over oranges. Cover and marinate in refrigerator 2 hrs.
  2. NOTES : I tried it and thought it was pretty good, considering which the oranges we're getting here (MN) aren't the best. I would definitely try it again when the oranges are sweeter and juicier.
  3. Oh, this is sooo good!! A real favorite of mine! To dress this up for company or possibly just to make it special for yourself, use Blood oranges instead of or possibly mixed with the Navel oranges. Arrange them on a bed of lettuce and garnish with a couple of curls of orange zest and or possibly a mint sprig. Beautiful. [AVH1694 ([email protected])]
