Ingredients
- 1 pkt Dry lentils, (12 ounce)
- 1 x Onion, diced
- 3 x Cloves garlic, diced
- 4 c. Water
- 1 Tbsp. Dry parsley
- 1 tsp Dry oregano
- 1 tsp Dry basil
- 1/4 c. Red wine vinegar
- 1/2 c. Oil
- 1 tsp Kosher salt
Directions
- 1. In a 2-qt saucepan, combine lentils, onion, garlic, the water, parsley, oregano, and basil. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer and cook for25 to 30 min. Pour into serving bowl to cold.
- 2. In a small bowl whisk vinegar, oil, and salt. Pour mix over lentils and mix well. Refrigerate1 hour.
