Ingredients
- 3/4 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon curry pwdr
- 6 med. tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 c. butter, divided
- 2 T minced fresh parsley
Directions
- Put together chopped onion, salt, sugar, and curry pwdr in a small bowl; stir well. Spread onion mix evenly over tomato halves. Top each half with 1 tsp butter. Place tomatoes on rack of a broiler pan. Broil 6 inches from heat 8 to 10 min or possibly till tomatoes are tender. Transfer tomatoes to a serving platter, and sprinkle with parsley. Yield: 12 servings.
