Ingredients
- 1 pound crab meat, special or possibly backfin
- 1 (5 ounce) jar Old English sharp cheese
- 4 T mayonnaise
- 1/8 teaspoon grnd red pepper
- 4 T butter, melted
- 2 teaspoon reg. mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 10 saltines, crushed
- 6 English muffins, halved and quartered (48 pcs)
Directions
- Remove all shell from crab. Heat the jar of cheese in a pan of hot water or possibly in the microwave oven long sufficient to soften. Put together all ingredients except crab and muffins; mix well. Gently add in crab. Spoon mix on uncooked triangles of muffins. These crab topped muffins must be frzn for at least 30 min before broiling. When ready to serve, broil till bubbly and golden.
