Broccoli Rabe With Olive Oil And Garlic

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb Broccoli rabe rinsed, thick ends stems trimmed, cut 2" lengths Salt to taste
  • 2 Tbsp. Extra-virgin extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 x Garlic clove cut thin slivers
  • 1 pch Red warm pepper flakes

Directions

  1. Fill a large wide saucepan with water; heat to boiling. Add in the broccoli rabe and salt; boil till tender, 6 to 8 min. Drain immediately.
  2. Wipe the pan dry. Add in the oil, garlic and red pepper flakes to the saucepan. Heat over low heat, stirring, till warmed and garlic begins to sizzle, about 5 min. Stir the broccoli rabe into the hot oil to coat. Serve at once.
  3. This recipe yields 4 servings.
