Ingredients
- 8 ounce. uncooked curly pasta
- 2 c. broccoli florets
- 1 c. diced sweet red bell pepper
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
- 1 c. low fat cottage cheese
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/3 c. low fat lowfat milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoon dry basil
Directions
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Add in broccoli and pepper to pot; continue cooking till vegetables are just tender, about 3-4 min. Drain in colander and return to pot. Heat butter in a medium saucepan, add in garlic and cook till golden brown; stir in remaining ingredients and heat through. Pour sauce into pasta and vegetables and toss to cut thoroughly.
