Breyers® delights Cookies & Cream Ice Cream (Product Review) Recipe
Ice Cream is that special treat that we love to eat, but finding one that is made with quality ingredients (think fresh cream!), that is also high protein without sacrificing flavor and texture has not been the easiest to do. Until now! Breyers® delights has come to the rescue!
Grumpy loves ice cream and he loves Cookies & Cream ice cream. It’s a treat that I didn’t buy often, until recently that is! Breyers® has always been a brand favorite in our home, so I was super excited to see that they now have a pint sized Cookies & Cream flavor that has only 330 calories and 20 grams of protein in the whole pint!
While I tend to not eat more than one serving size, it makes me feel good to know that when Grumpy wants to eat ice cream, he won’t feel guilty about eating the entire pint! It makes me feel good to know this is made with real cream and is also lower in added sugars. The whole pint has only 11 grams of added sugars, which for me, living the Keto lifestyle, is a great plus.
What is not to love about this product? With half the calories and 2x’s the protein (vs comparable Breyers flavor)! I would say there is everything to love!
This has become our new favorite product of 2018 at BJ’s. I also love the great value at found at BJ’s where I bought a 4-pack for only $11.49 – which comes out to only $2.87 per pint! This is an awesome price!
Don’t just take my word for it, definitely try this for yourself. You will find there is no funky aftertaste and the texture of this ice cream is spot on. This my friends, tastes like real, dreamy ice cream. With cookies. of course!
