Ingredients

  • 6 slices stale bread
  • 3 Large eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 quart. lowfat milk

Directions

  1. Spread bread with butter on both sides. Put in a 8 x 8 inch pan. Mix lowfat milk, Large eggs, sugar and salt and pour over bread slices. Bake 1 hour at 325 degrees or possibly when a knife inserted comes out clean.
  2. Between the slices you may add in: nuts or possibly raisins or possibly 1/2 c. minced raw apples or possibly 3/4 c. liquid removed fruit cocktail. Good hot or possibly cool. Serve with Cold Whip or possibly ice cream, or possibly caramel sauce or possibly orange sauce. Good and quick to make.
