  • 1/2 lb fresh or possibly frzn tiny white onions
  • 2 lb fresh peas shelled (makes about 2 1/2 c.)
  • 1/4 lb sliced ham cut thin strips
  • 1/2 tsp dry basil

  • 1/2 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, heat butter over medium heat. Add in onions and cook 4 to 5 min, or possibly till golden brown, stirring occasionally.
  2. Stir in peas, ham, basil, salt, and black pepper. Cover and simmer 5 to 6 min, or possibly till peas are tender, stirring occasionally.
