Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. Unsalted butter
- 1 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
- 2 lrg Onions, thinly sliced
- 3 x Cloves roasted garlic, finely minced
- 4 lb Collard greens, washed, stems removed, and cut into 1/2 inch pcs
- 2 c. Chicken stock
- 1 Tbsp. Salt
- 1 tsp Warm red pepper flakes
Directions
- How to Prepare:1. In a large Dutch oven, heat the butter and oil over medium heat.
- Add in the onions and cook, covered, for 10 min, or possibly till soft.
- 2. Remove the cover and continue cooking till brown and caramelized.
- Add in the garlic and cook for one minute.
- 3. Add in the collard greens, stock, salt, and red pepper flakes, cover, and cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, for 30 min or possibly till tender. 1997 Lifetime Entertainment Services. All rights reserved.
