  • 6 c. water
  • 12 x boysenberry herbal tea bags
  • 2 x cinnamon sticks - (3" long)
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh ginger
  • 1 c. unsweetened cranberry juice Sugar substitute to taste Crushed ice as needed
  • 6 x cinnamon sticks

Directions

  1. Heat water in a large saucepan to just before boiling. Add in tea bags, cinnamon sticks and ginger. Remove from heat, cover and let steep for about 15 min. Add in juice and sweetener to taste. Strain tea into a pitcher. Cover and chill.
  2. Freeze glasses prior to serving. Pour tea over crushed ice and serve garnished with cinnamon sticks.
  3. This recipe yields 6 servings.
  4. NOTES : People with diabetes or possibly those on calorie-controlled diets may count one serving as: 1/2 fruit.
