Boy or Girl?
We found out the gender of our baby on Friday! It was really hard to keep the secret for a couple of days, but life got busy and I didn’t have time to get a post up until now. Thank you for your patience! Any last minute guesses? Do you think we are having a boy or a girl?
Ok, enough suspense! Drum roll please!
We are having another baby BOY! Yahoo! We are both on cloud nine!
I was super nervous going into our appointment. First of all, I wanted to make sure the baby was healthy and everything was progressing along like it should be. I was also nervous about the gender. I know we would be happy with a boy or girl, but to be honest, I REALLY wanted another boy.

%20I%20really%20wanted%20a%20boy%20for%20Caleb%20though.%20I%20wanted%20him%20to%20have%20a%20brother%20to%20play%20with,%20grow%20up%20with,%20and%20to%20be%20his%20best%20friend.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhen%20we%20were%20getting%20the%20ultrasound%20done,%20my%20heart%20was%20pounding.%20They%20kept%20showing%20us%20the%20heart,%20brain,%20spine,%20etc.%20I%20was%20happy%20to%20see%20all%20of%20these%20things,%20but%20I%20really%20wanted%20to%20know%20the%20gender.%20She%20finally%20pointed%20out%20the%20%E2%80%9Cboy%20parts%E2%80%9D%20and%20I%20screamed%20with%20excitement!%20I%20was%20so%20happy!%20I%20looked%20at%20Josh%20and%20he%20had%20the%20biggest%20smile%20on%20is%20face.%20We%20are%20both%20thrilled%20we%20are%20having%20another%20boy!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhen%20we%20got%20home%20we%20surprised%20Caleb%20with%20blue%20balloons%20and%20told%20him%20he%20was%20going%20to%20have%20a%20baby%20brother.%20He%20started%20jumping%20up%20and%20down%20and%20yelling%20yay!%20I%20don%E2%80%99t%20know%20if%20he%20was%20excited%20about%20having%20a%20baby%20brother%20or%20the%20balloons%E2%80%A6but%20either%20way,%20he%20was%20very%20happy!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20know%20Caleb%20is%20going%20to%20be%20a%20wonderful%20big%20brother!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20will%20go%20ahead%20and%20do%20a%20little%20pregnancy%20update%20since%20we%20are%20on%20the%20topic!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20am%2019%20weeks,%20almost%20half%20way%20there!%20My%20original%20due%20date%20was%20August%204th,%20but%20at%20our%20appointment%20they%20pushed%20it%20back%20to%20August%207th%20since%20I%20am%20measuring%20a%20little%20small.%20Who%20knows%20when%20the%20baby%20will%20really%20come,%20but%20we%20are%20planning%20for%20the%20first%20week%20of%20August!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECravings-I%20am%20still%20loving%20Mexican,%20grilled%20cheese%20sandwiches,%20pancakes,%20and%20fruit!%20A%20few%20new%20cravings%20include:%20hummus%20and%20pita%20chips,%20cauliflower%20(especially%20my%20cauliflower%20tacos),%20dried%20mango,%20Laughing%20Cow%20cheese%20with%20carrots,%20popcorn,%20and%20Pop%20Tarts.%20I%20haven%E2%80%99t%20given%20in%20to%20my%20Pop%20Tarts%20craving.%20I%20hope%20it%20goes%20away%20soon!%20My%20sweet%20tooth%20is%20coming%20back%20to%20life.%20I%20am%20so%20happy%20I%20am%20loving%20cookies%20again:)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAversions-still%20mint%20gum,%20strong%20onions,%20and%20bagels.%20I%20think%20I%20overdosed%20at%20the%20beginning%20of%20my%20pregnancy.%20I%20don%E2%80%99t%20want%20to%20see%20another%20bagel%20for%20a%20long%20time!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMy%20nausea%20is%20better,%20but%20I%20still%20have%20rough%20days.%20The%20nights%20are%20usually%20the%20worst.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20am%20working%20out%205-6%20days%20a%20week.%20I%20do%20the%20elliptical%20for%2035%20minutes,%2050%20push%20ups%20on%20the%20ball,%20hand%20weights,%20plank,%20leg%20lifts,%20wall%20sit,%20etc.%20most%20days.%20I%20tried%20running%20once,%20but%20it%20was%20hard.%20I%20had%20Caleb,%20the%20stroller,%20and%20ran%20uphill%E2%80%A6so%20that%20didn%E2%80%99t%20make%20it%20easy.%20I%20hope%20to%20try%20again%20soon!%20I%20have%20also%20been%20walking%20with%20Caleb%20when%20it%20is%20nice%20out.%20I%20exercised%20up%20until%20the%20day%20I%20had%20Caleb%20so%20I%20hope%20I%20can%20do%20the%20same%20with%20this%20pregnancy.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%E2%80%99ve%20gained%20about%207%20pounds%20so%20far.%20All%20of%20my%20clothes%20still%20fit,%20but%20I%20definitely%20have%20a%20baby%20bump!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20am%20sleeping%20better%E2%80%A6when%20I%20am%20not%20staying%20up%20late%20to%20watch%20Nashville:)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMy%20back%20is%20starting%20to%20hurt,%20but%20thank%20goodness%20Josh%20has%20been%20giving%20me%20daily%20massages!%20It%20really%20helps.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20know%20we%20just%20found%20out%20that%20we%20are%20having%20a%20boy,%20but%20names%20are%20already%20stressing%20me%20out.%20We%20both%20agreed%20on%20Caleb%20so%20it%20was%20easy,%20but%20we%20are%20struggling%20this%20time%20around.%20Any%20boy%20name%20suggestions?%20We%20would%20love%20to%20hear%20them!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOverall,%20this%20pregnancy%20is%20going%20well!%20I%20just%20hope%20the%20nausea%20leaves%20soon%20and%20leaves%20for%20good.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%20are%20super%20excited%20for%20our%20baby%20boy%20to%20arrive!%20I%20hope%20the%20next%20few%20months%20go%20quickly!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
