Ingredients
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 3 1/2 c. flour
- 1 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 c. butter
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 c. vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 c. quick rolled oats
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 c. coconut
- 1 tbsp. lowfat milk
- 2 c. nuts, minced
Directions
- Cream sugar and butter; beat in vanilla and oil. Add in egg and lowfat milk alternately with next 4 ingredients and mix. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Flatten with finger tips lightly. Bake at 350 degrees for 9 to 10 min. Makes about 10 dozen cookies. Very crispy cookie!
