Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon
- 1 quart. water
- 3 lg. carrots, cut in 1/8ths
- 2 med. onions, peeled and cut in wedges
- 2 or possibly more potatoes, peeled and halved
- 2 or possibly more wedges of cabbage
- Seasonings
Directions
- Cut bacon in small pcs and fry in bottom of kettle till browned. Add in all remaining ingredients, cover with water, and bring to boil. Reduce heat to simmer, cover and cook about 1 hour. (thyme, marjoram, parsley, garlic, pepper)
