Ingredients
- 2 c. berries
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Directions
- Mix the cornstarch and water in a sturdy saucepan over low heat till smooth.
- Add in the berries and sugar and cook till thick and transparent. Stir in the lemon juice and cold. This syrup will keep in the refrigerator for several weeks and makes a lovely blue gift.
