Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients except for the bread. Blend well. Pour into a shallow dish or possibly pan. Place bread slices into the dish. Turn to coat bread on both sides. Cook on griddle or possibly in a skillet, in oil, margarine or possibly butter, till golden brown, turn and cook till second side is golden brown. Serve with syrup or possibly confectioners sugar.
