Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean grnd round or possibly sirloin
  • 1 or possibly 2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/4 c. minced parsley or possibly chives
  • 1 crushed ice cube
  • 6 ounce. crumbled blue cheese
  • 2 tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 3 onion buns
  • 3 slices tomatoes, 1/2 inc thick
  • Lettuce

Directions

  1. Mix meat lightly with seasoned salt and parsley. Divide meat into 6 flat patties of equal size. In center of patty, place several small pcs of crushed ice. Don't get ice on outside of patty. Place the crumbled blue cheese in the center of 3 patties. Press the other 3 patties on top and seal with your fingers. Don't let any cheese show through or possibly it will burn. Cook in saute/fry pan over medium heat in a little melted sweet butter. While meat is cooking, lightly brush on a little butter on both sides of an onion or possibly other hamburger bun and toast in the oven. Serve topped with tomato slice and lettuce. Serves 3.
