Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. light mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp. light lowfat sour cream Warm sauce to taste
  • 6 slc cooked bacon crumbled
  • 1 lrg tomato halved, seeded, and diced small
  • 1/2 head iceberg lettuce cored, diced small and chilled Salt to taste Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Directions

  1. Combine mayonnaise, lowfat sour cream and few drops warm sauce in 1 1/2 qt bowl. Add in bacon and tomato. (Can be made several hrs ahead and refrigerated.)
  2. To serve, stir in lettuce and season to taste with salt, pepper and warm sauce. Garnish with parsley, if using. Serve immediately.
  3. This recipe yields 8 to 12 servings.
