Directions

  1. Heat butter over low heat in medium saucepan. Remove from heat and stir in brown sugar till well blended. Cold, and stir in egg. In another bowl, thoroughly mix flour, baking pwdr and salt. Stir into butter mix. Stir in vanilla and water. Stir in coconut and nuts. Spread into well greased and floured square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 min. Don't over bake. Cut into squares while still hot. Recipe may be doubled.
