Biscuits And Sausage With Saw Mill Gravy Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 c. All-purpose flour
  • 3 tsp Baking
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 4 Tbsp. Vegetable shortening
  • 3/4 c. Buttermilk, up to 1
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 9 lb Fresh lean pork
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Black pepper
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Sage, crushed
  • 3 Tbsp. Salt
  • 1 Tbsp. Flour, for every 2 patties
  • 1 c. Lowfat milk for every tbsp. of flour Kosher salt and pepper to taste.

Directions

  1. Bake biscuits at 425 F for about 12 min.
  2. Shape sausage into patties an fry.
  3. Leave sausage crumbs and fat in bottom of pan add in gravy ingredients to make gravy.
