Ingredients

  • 12 oz package Jimmy Dean reduced fat sausage
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup SACO cultured dry buttermilk
  • 2 cups hot water
  • Dry onion flakes to taste
  • Cumin to taste
  • Red pepper spice to taste
  • Package biscuits of choice(I like southern style)

Directions

1.
Brown sausage well.
2.
Add dry ingredients to meat and blend together.
3.
Add hot water stiring constantly to help remove lumps.
4.
Season with cumin, red and black pepper to taste.
5.
Bring to a boil then reduce heat to simmer. Allow gravy to thicken.
6.
Bake your biscuits of choice.
7.
Smother with gravy and enjoy!
