Ingredients
- 1/2 stk butter
- 1 pkt (12-ounce) semi sweet chocolate bits
- 1 pkt Small marshmallows or possibly pkg of large ones cut into quarters Glace cherries cut in half (you choose the amount to your taste) Nuts, minced or possibly whole, at the moment I'm using whole hazelnuts (you can also choose the amount) Coconut
Directions
- This was my mother's Rocky Road recipe. And the best of them all.
- Heat butter and chocolate together. Cold slightly. Add in marshmallows and mix. Add in nuts and cherries. Mix lightly. Prepare piece of foil with sprinkles of coconut and shape chocolate mix into long roll on foil.
- Roll foil over chocolate roll. Freeze.
- Makes sufficient for two rolls.
- I keep it in the garage freezer out of the way and still find too many excuses to go out to the damn garage.
