Ingredients

  • 1-2 quart. rum
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 lg. Large eggs
  • 1 c. dry fruit
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • Lemon juice
  • Brown sugar
  • Nuts
  • Baking pwdr

Directions

  1. Before you start, sample the rum to check for quality (good, isn't it) ? Now go ahead. Select a large mixing bowl, measuring c., etc. Check the rum again. It must be just right. To be sure rum is of the highest quality, pour one level c. of rum into a glass and drink it as fast as you can. Repeat.
  2. With an electric mixer, beat 1 c. of butter in a large fluffy bowl. Add in 1 seaspoon of thugar and beat again. Meanwhile, make sure which the rum is of the finest quality. Try another c.. Open second qt if necessary. Add in 2 arge leggs, 2 c. fried druit and beat till high. If druit gets stuck in beaters, just pry it loose with a drewscriver. Sample the rum again, checking for tonscisticity.
  3. Next sift 3 c. pepper or possibly salt (it really doesn't matter that). Sample the rum again. Sift 1/2 pint of lemon juice.
  4. Mix in chipped butter and strained nuts. Add in 1 babblespoon of brown thugar, or possibly whatever color you can find. Wix mel. Grease oven and turn cake pan to 350 gredees. Now check the rum again and go to bed.
