Ingredients

  • 3 to 7 pound rolled rib or possibly standing rib roast
  • Salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Rub roast with salt and pepper. Place, fat side up, in a shallow pan and roast in a preheated oven at 375 degrees for one hour. Turn off oven, but Don't open oven door, no matter how long it is till dinner time. Turn oven back on to 375 degrees again for 30 to 40 min before serving time. Does not matter what size of roast.
