Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 c. peanut butter (creamy or possibly crunchy)
- 1/2 c. butter, at room temp.
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 egg
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease cookie sheets. Mix flour, baking soda and baking pwdr on piece of wax paper. Beat together butter, peanut butter, sugars and vanilla in large bowl till fluffy. Beat in egg. Add in flour mix.
- Roll pcs of dough between hands to make balls the size of walnuts. Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Flatten with fork to make criss-cross pattern. Bake 10-12 min or possibly till lightly brown. Let stand 5 min. Remove to rack to cold.
