Directions

  1. In a bowl, cream together butter, sugar and Large eggs till very creamy and well blended. Add in salt, stir in flour, mixing to blend well. Add in chocolate syrup, vanilla and nuts. Turn mix into well greased and lightly floured 9 inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 35 min. Cold pan on wire rack but loosen cake at edges. Cut into squares. Garnish with pecan halves or possibly dust with powdered sugar.
