Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. Butter
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 2 tsp Grated orange rind
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 4 c. Flour
  • 1 x Beaten egg white Candied green and red cherries

Directions

  1. Cream butter, sugar, rind, and Large eggs thoroughly. Stir in flour. Refrigeratedough for an hour or possibly so. Take about a tsp. of dough and roll it into a rope,
  2. "tie" the rope loosely (like a wreath or possibly a soft pretzel). Brush with beaten egg white and decorate with candied cut red and green cherries. Bake in preheated 400 degree oven till set but not browned.
