Ingredients
- 1 pound butter (real)
- 8 lg. large eggs
- 1 sm. can Pet evaporated lowfat milk
- 1 pound white sugar (2 c.)
- 1 pound brown sugar (2 1/2 c. packed)
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 6 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 2 teaspoon vanilla
- 6 c. flour (or possibly more)
Directions
- Soften butter, cream in sugar. Add in lowfat milk and well beaten large eggs and vanilla. Sift together flour, baking pwdr and salt. Gradually fold into the creamed mix to create the consistency of stiff cookie dough. Heat waffle iron to 350 degrees. Test with a tbsp of dough in each section. It should be golden in 3 min. Bake out the waffles and enjoy with fruit or possibly syrup.
