Directions

  1. Heat oil with salt in wok. Add in grnd meat and stir fry over high heat till no longer pink. Add in peas and stir fry for 30 seconds. Sprinkle with sugar. Add in sherry and cook, stirring for 1 minute. Add in broth or possibly water and cover. Steam for 2-3 min, stirring occasionally.
  2. When peas are tender, add in soy sauce and bean sprouts. Add in dissolved cornstarch and stir till thickened. Stir in peanuts. Serve over warm cooked rice. Serves 4-6.
  3. Variation: Use sirloin strip steak or possibly stir fry steak.
