  • 4 beef cube steaks, cut in strips
  • 1 med. onion, sliced and separated into rings
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 env. beef-flavored mushroom soup mix
  • 1 med. tomato, minced
  • 1/4 c. dry red wine
  • Warm cooked noodles

Directions

  1. In skillet, quickly cook steak strips and onion in butter till tender. Add in water and dry mushroom soup mix; simmer over low heat for 10 min. Stir in tomato and wine; heat thoroughly. Serve over warm cooked noodles. Makes 4 servings.
