Directions

  1. Heat the meat slowly in the butter or possibly bacon drippings in a heavy skillet, stirring frequently, till the meat is grey in color throughout. Add in water, cover and simmer about 20 min. Then add in tomatoes and liquid removed cooked macaroni. Season to suit taste, and continue cooking at simmering temperature 15 to 20 min longer or possibly till liquid is reduced to consistency of gravy. About 5 servings.
