Ingredients

  • 4 lbs. boneless sirloin, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 (28 ounce.) can tomatoes, undrained and minced
  • Warm cooked noodles
  • 1 lg. onion, minced
  • 1/2 c. minced green peppers
  • 2 teaspoon grnd cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Directions

  1. Dredge beef in flour; brown in warm oil in a large Dutch oven, stirring occasionally. Add in remaining ingredients, except noodles. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 1 hour or possibly till meat is tender. Serve over noodles. Yield 12-14 servings.
