Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pound round steak, cut in thin strips
- 2 tbsp. veg. oil
- 1 c. sliced onion
- 1 green pepper, minced
- 1 c. Uncle Bens rice
- 1 can beef broth
- 1 soup can water
- 3 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 jar (2 ounce.) pimento, liquid removed
Directions
- Brown beef in warm oil in 10 inch skillet. Stir in onion, rice, beef broth, water, soy sauce and 1/2 of the pepper. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer till liquid is absorbed and rice is done. About 25 min. Stir in remaining green pepper and pimento and heat through.
