Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 x clove garlic, crushed
- 1 Tbsp. grated fresh ginger
- 1 x onion, finely sliced
- 350 gm lean rump steak, cut into strips
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 x red capsicum, seeded & sliced
- 90 gm bean sprouts
- 60 gm snow peas
- 1Â 1/2 Tbsp. black bean sauce
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. beef stock
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp cornflour, blended with
- 1 Tbsp. water
Directions
- 1 . Heat vegetable oil in a wok or possibly frying pan. Add in garlic and ginger and stir-fry for 1 minute. Add in onion and beef and stir-fry for 3 min or possibly till beef is browned. Remove meat mix from pan and set aside.
- 2. Heat sesame oil in pan, add in capsicum, bean sprouts and snow peas and stir-fry for 1 minute. Add in black bean sauce, soy sauce, stock, sugar and cornflour mix. Cook, stirring, till mix thickens slightly.
- Return meat mix to pan. Cook for 2 to 3 min longer or possibly till heated through.
