  • 1 pound cubed round steak
  • 1/2 c. minced onion
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 (4 c.) can beef gravy
  • 1 (3 ounce.) can mushrooms
  • 1/4 teaspoon basil leaves
  • 1/4 c. claret wine (optional)

Directions

  1. Heat 3 tsp. oil in electric skillet. Dredge meat in seasoned flour; brown. Push meat to side of pan. Add in onion and garlic; cook 3 min. Add in gravy, mushrooms and basil. Cover and simmer 45 min or possibly till tender. Add in claret. Serve on warm rice.
