Here is a simple beef burrito recipe. You can use any kind of beef that you like, steaks work great. This recipe is just an idea of how little amount of ingredients go a long way. The avocado adds a lot of flavor. You can even switch this recipe up by using chicken instead of beef.
Ingredients
- Corn Tortillas
- 1 lb. Beef, cut into strips
- 1-2 Red Hot Chilis
- Handful of Cilantro
- 1 Avocado
- 2 Green Onions
- 1 Garlic, minced
- 1 small tomato, diced
- 1 T. Vegetable Oil
- Hot Sauce- Optional
Directions
- *Season the beef strips with salt and pepper.
- *Dice up the tomatoes, red chilis, green onions.
- *Chop up the cilantro.
- *Mince the garlic.
- *Peel the avocado and place in a bowl. Smash it up.
- *In a pan, add a touch of vegetable oil, cook up the beef strips.
- *Meanwhile, put the corn tortillas in the microwave, heat up for about 1 minute.
- *To serve: Spread the avocado onto the corn tortillas. Add the beef strips and the rest of the ingredients.
- Add hot sauce if desired.
