Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon, cut into 1/4 inch pcs
- 1 (4 ounce.) can diced green chilies
- 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
- 1 (29 ounce.) Hunts tomato sauce
- 1 (29 ounce.) can pinto beans, undrained
- 1/2 c. sliced green onions
- 2 (14 1/2 ounce..) cans beef broth
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 bay leaf
Directions
- In Dutch oven, fry bacon till crisp. Add in green chiles, green onions and garlic; saute/fry till tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 15 min. Remove bay leaf and serve warm. Makes 11 1/2 c..
